Mercado Municipal

(Uberlândia, Brazil) • Known as Mercadão, this is a traditional and historical market in Uberlândia that sells hand craft work, food, drink, coffee, souvenirs and home items. Outside, by the parking lot, you will find several stores and restaurants that are totally worth visiting. My favorite stands in the market are the ones that sell sweets and cheese, my husband always goes for the hot pepper and cachaça (Brazilian rum) stands. If you are in Uberlândia, this is a place you must visit!

Food presentation: ♡♡♡ – Fresh and appetizing. The smell when you enter the place always kills me, so good!
Portion: ♡♡♡
Taste: ♡♡♡ – You will get all types of traditional food (savoury and sweets) and drinks from the Minas Gerais state and they are delicious. The sweets in jars were always my favorites and the cocadas (made with coconut), whenever I go there, that’s what I get.
