(Gatineau, Canada) • A Bring-Your-Own-Wine Greek Restaurant with excellent service. A must try.
Ambiance: It’s a huge restaurant, several booths and tables, reservation is recommended but it was never a problem for us. Modern and elegant decor, high ceilings, open concept, large booths and a fancy feel to it. It can be quite noisy though, depending on the day/time you are going. You can bring your own wine and conveniently there is a liquor store just next to it.
Service: Excellent! Completely bilingual, friendly and efficient. It didn’t take long for us to get seated and for the waitress to come greet us, bring the menu, drinks and take our orders. She was very helpful making recommendations and suggestions. She came to check in on us later and refill our glasses. After we ordered they brought out a basket with bread and butter. She was very attentive and cleared up the plates as soon as we were done and was fast bringing the bill after.
Cleanliness: Table, utensils, plates and glasses looked spotless.
Food wait time: Reasonable time since the place was pretty busy.
Food presentation: Our plates look delicious! Very well displayed specially the Tzatziki since it was just a snack.
Portion: I was impressed with the size of portions for the money. The desserts were huge and I didn’t finish mine.
Taste: I really enjoyed my Chicken Grill and the dessert; I would order them again. The main plate I found was a bit greasy and the salad had way too much dressing.
Price: On the high side.
