(Gatineau, Canada) • A good spot for a quick bite to eat when you are in the mood for Japanese food.
Ambiance: It’s located in the food court of Les Promenades mall, so there are lots of tables around. The place itself is small but with a large menu on the board.
Service: Friendly and efficient. One takes our orders and the other processes payment. You order, pay, take your food and go find a seat in the food court.
Cleanliness: The counter seemed tidy.
Food wait time: Very fast. You order at the counter and they start putting your order together right away.
Food presentation: Nicely displayed. It looked fresh and appetizing.
Portion: Not huge but very filling.
Taste: We had the bowl, rice and salmon and rice and chicken. I liked them even though there was not much taste to them, the sauce was not overpowering and it didn’t taste artificial. The sushi tasted fresh and I would like to try other flavors next time I am there.
