(Toronto, Canada) • Unfortunately, this location closed last month, but there are 2 other locations (469 Front Street and 861 York Mills Road, unit 10), that I am sure they offer the same delicious smoothie bowls. There is a lot of selection including vegan, gluten free and no artificial flavours, colour or sugar.
Ambiance: Located on the upper level, not wheelchair accessible. The place is narrow and a bit dark and there is a bathroom in the back.
Service: Friendly and efficient. The girl at the counter was very pleasant and helpful.
Cleanliness: The counter seems pretty clean and tidy. The menu is displayed on the wall and there is a large cooler with several products. Our table was clean. To access the washroom you have to get a key at the counter for the washroom, it’s pretty small and it wasn’t clean.
Food wait time: We were the only costumers at the time and it was fast..
Bowl presentation: It looked so neatly displayed. The rows of toppings were aligned nicely.
Portion: The bowl is fairly big.
Taste: I loved it even though, to me that grew up eating real acai bowls, this tastes more like a raspberry smoothie. The banana was ripe enough, flax seeds were the right amount but I did find that the chia seeds didn’t blend well with the coconut flakes. All and all I would order it.
