(Quebec City, Canada) • Located at the charming streets of the Quartier Petit Champlain, Le Lapin Sauté is a restaurant you must visit! It’s a small place, so make sure to make a reservation.
Ambiance: Very warm, cozy, quaint and very stylish with a intimate feel. Also, there is a beautiful patio to sit at on warm days.
Service: Prompt, friendly and fully bilingual. We didn’t have to wait for her to bring the menu, the drinks or the bill. She came to check in on us and refill our glasses of water.
Cleanliness: Our plates, utensils, glasses, chairs and table were clean.
Food wait time: Pretty fast.
Food presentation: The fondue looked ok but the pudding didn’t look very appetizing.
Portion: Fondue was a fair size but it came with only 2 pieces of bread. The pudding could have been a little bigger.
Taste: I found that the fondue had a bit of an overpowering taste but I’d get it again with more bread. The raspberry pudding though it didn’t look as appetizing it is by far the best pudding I’ve ever had here in Canada; it was absolutely amazing and I had to refrain myself from ordering another one. Delicious!
Price: On the high side. Worth paying for the pudding for sure though!
