(Montreal, Canada) • An amazing churrascaria (Brazilian barbecue place) in downtown Montreal for all meat lovers and Brazilians abroad missing home. I certainly felt like home.
Ambiance: The restaurant is fairly big, it has nice an elegant yet vibrant decor. Good music, it can be a bit too loud for some. A fun vibe though. The day we went there was also a performance with 2 wonderful dancers interacting with us, it was a great laugh!
Service: The waiter was fast coming to greet us and explaining the rodízio (all you can eat meat); he was also fast bringing the drinks and the bill after.
Cleanliness: Our place mats, table, chairs, utensils and glasses were spotless.
Food wait time: Comparing to the churrascarias in Brazil where we don’t get a break between being served meat, the meat here is slow coming by. They bring to your table endless portions of sides which is awesome! They don’t watch and refill it when it gets empty, you need to ask for a refill.
Food presentation: The side plates look cute and food colourful and tasty. The meat on swords are mouth watering!
Portion: The sides are not big but they are endless so you can refill it as you wish.
Taste: Delicious! Some might think that the meat is salty as they use coarse salt but as a Brazilian, to me it tasted just like home: meat barbecued over charcoals.
Price: On the high side. I must note though that at this location, when my husband went to pay our close to $200 bill and we left a 25% tip, the guy taking the payment was very rude and complained that our tip was too low.
