(Ottawa, Canada) • The PoutineFest is a tradition in Ottawa and a moment for you to try delicious selections of poutine from several vendors. I was there last Fall and am looking forward to next time it will be held again.
Ambiance: First time I went it was on Sparks Street and then I went to the one at City Hall. I prefer the one at City Hall because they also have a space for people to drink alcohol and also places to sit. The one at Sparks Street is nice because it’s a nice walk but the street gets too crowded. There is a fun energy as there are a lot of families attending.
Service: The lines were very long at every stand.
Cleanliness: Garbage cans were available around the festival and I didn’t see garbage on the street.
Food wait time: It takes quite a while at all stands since the lines are very long.
Food presentation: Even though my husband’s order looked very greasy, they both look appetizing.
Portion: Typical poutine size for most and a bit larger for others..
Taste: Super delicious, last time I had the Gnocchi poutine from Mr. Panino and it was one of the most delicious poutine I ever had. My husband had a bacon and meat poutine and he really like it.
