(Montreal, Canada) • A very nice pub in the heart of Old Port of Montreal, a little hidden and with a great selection of craft beer. It’s located right by the Bonsecours Market, a nice quick stop in between shopping.
Ambiance: Vibrant vibe, amazing atmosphere. Nice upbeat music, a little dark as it is not above ground. The pub is a fair size and it has several tables also on a patio which is really nice during warm days.
Service: Very fast, friendly and efficient. We were not there during peak hours so we didn’t need to wait for a table. The waiter was fast taking our order, the drinks and the bill after. Also, he was attentive and checked in on us and asked if we wanted more drinks.
Cleanliness: Our table, chairs and glasses were clean.
Food wait time: Very fast! Maybe because the pub was not full but we didn’t need to wait much at all.
Food presentation: Nothing different or special but I liked that it came with mayo without us asking.
Portion: We had an order of fries and it was a fair size for the price.
Taste: Pretty good fries. My husband had a local beer and he really liked it.
